AMUM's next exhibition "Visual Arts of Mexico will open Saturday, September 6th, with a reception happening from 3-5 p.m. This exhibition embraces the rich and diverse artistic traditions that have emerged from Mexico, spanning from the Pre-Columbian period to the modern day.

The College of Communication and Fine Arts is excited to announce the 2nd annual Central to the Arts Festival (#ctaf) on April 6, 2024, at the University of Memphis. The #ctaf begins at 10:00 am and wraps up at 2:30 pm with a special Exposé performance by CCFA students.

Staff Pick of the Week: Käthe Kollwitz was a German artist who worked with painting, printmaking (including etching, lithography and woodcuts) and sculpture. Her most famous art cycles, including The Weavers and The Peasant War, depict the effects of poverty, hunger and war.
