While talking with Doris, she shared that her grandson, who needs to use a wheelchair, will be moving in with them so they can help take care of him. She asked if we could help install a wheelchair ramp, and AMUS was quick to rise to the occasion. Today we helped install a ramp!
We met community members Doris and Fred when we came out to add some new flower boxes to the community garden. She planted pumpkins so the neighborhood kids could have a home grown jack o lanterns! When AMUS helps install garden beds, it's our favorite thing to see the growth!
