Google & Artsのフェルメール美術館がスゴイ。一つ一つの作品画像の解像度が素晴らしい。これで感じられないのは表面の陶器のような独特の質感、及び光の反射くらいなのでは、という位。学生さんとかで模写をするのに恰好の教材になりそうです。 artsandculture.google.com/pocketgallery/…

なぜか不思議と激しく心揺さぶられました笑 表現活動の多くはとても時間や労力がかかるし、基本人から称賛されることは少ない。それでも出来るのは、自分の一方的な「好き」というキラキラしたピュアな原動力があるから。すること自体が尊いし、続けることはもっと尊い。

葛飾北斎を日本の美術のピークの一つ、としする考え方は、西洋人の物差しなら一つあっても良いかもしれないけれど、日本人としては、大きく的外れではないだろうか。個人的には昭和初期の日本画は人類有史以来の豊かさと思うのです。
