I use a post it note, but this is such a great tip for using Desmos effectively. Pacing and pausing are important to get the most student engagement and conversation during your lesson.

The Desmos turtle is a fave with my 8th graders. The turtle reappeared in a new lesson and the exclaimed “the turtle is back”! Thanks @desmosclassroom for the on point student engagement.
