Im 16 days gamble free, a full 8 days after payday and I still have a healthy bank balance for the first time in a long time. I started a new role in work and have been super busy. Plans for the weekend, a drive to the coast today and a golfing Sunday #RoadToRecovery #gamblefree

That's a week off the gambling. B8g weekend ahead as it's payday tomorrow. Taking the good lady out after work for dinner and drinks. Golf on Saturday and staying clear of any bookies 😁 #beattheaddiction
Thus is it. Day 7. Week 1. No gambling and I feel better for it. I've put a photo of my wife to be in my wallet, when I open it I see her before my cash and cards. Puts it all in perspective 😁👍
Day 6. Off to work and plans to take my niece out after. Change of routine 👍
Monday. The start of a new week and at 5 of me being gamble free. Positive mind and feeling good.
Day 4. Sunday spent on the sofa, films, dinner with my niece and an early night ahead. 1st weekend off gambling has been successful. Here's to many more 👍
Beautiful day here in Co.Antrim. Off out to the golf course for 18 holes, some lunch and a pint. No visit to the bookies today. Day 3 come at me
Straight home from work instead of a trip to the bookies tonight. This is the way it's going to be from now on. Time for a curry and a beer. I'll maybe clean my clubs for my round tomorrow
Day 2. Sitting in work, listened to a couple of videos on YouTube about stopping this horrible addiction. I know it's early but I see a bright future ahead for me and the Mrs. Plans for Saturday instead of the bookies, playing a round of golf and going to visit my niece 😊

Got engaged last year and moving into a new house in 8 weeks. Blew £1,400 since Monday. I'm lay here thinking that would have got me a nice sofa etc. I will beat this
I don't gamble online, never have. These things are the devil. Today is the start of a new life for me. I'm determined to beat these. Anyone any advise?
