This all makes a lot of sense. Sounds like you have built up an amazing support system and made it your goal to get sober no matter how many times it took. Everyone is different and I think different things help different people during recovery. 1/2

I guess once you are far in #recover or like you 8 years, you know enough to know that you are better off without the #addiction that fuelled your life. 2/2

Hi Kali! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I believe that eventually an #addiction that a #recovering addict had becomes more like an expirence like any other. It is something you feel comfortable wearing in your sleeve because it got you where you are today. 1/2

I can’t imagine the amount of people who have just told you to “get over it”. I don’t and can’t imagine what it would be like but I try my best to try and understand. It’s not a choice but so many people think it is.

From what I know I think that if one is in enough pain and is suffering they should be able to get physician assisted suicide. That is just my opinion from the amount of information I know about it. I don’t think I know enough to make an educated decision I will continue research

Right. Being an #addict isn’t something people should want to be when they grow up. Everything and anything can be a trigger, so it must be really hard to to recover from something when everything reminds of your #addiction.

Okay thank you! This cleared things up I will look further into this and continue my research. I was unaware that marijuana was slang and the prober term was cannabis. Thanks again for your help.

Understood, before you can start recovering you need to acccept yourself for what you are and try to seek help. I hope one day you can fully respect yourself again and think highly of yourself again. Thanks for your help!

Makes sense. #addiction must take a big tole on your body. I have heard that gets easier but of course I can’t tell you form experience but I’m sure it will. Do you think there will ever be a day when you don’t think about it?

I recently heard somewhere that marijuana wasn’t a #addictive substance. I don’t know if I believe this. The amount people that use it, it has to have some kind of addictive chemical in it. Or does it just make people feel good? #addiction #commentforkids
