I’m going to be putting my finger in 250 pies, actually (1000 per year -> 250 for one season), 10% of which will be “high-effort” (big) pies. So that’s 25 big pies and 224 small pies left
Fame is extremely high variance. The optimal strategy appears to be 1) be agnostic to the platform/how you get famous 2) put a minimum threshold of effort into every attempt and 3) play the numbers game
For the next 90 days I’m going to try and become “famous”. How? By casting an extremely wide and shallow net. This is the Finger in a Thousand Pies challenge, and the first pie is what I’m doing right now—posting on Twitter
