After a collaborative & highly productive Faculty Orientation & Training program, there’s so much to look forward to as Adelphi Academy begins its historic 163rd academic year! There’s no denying the sense of wonder & excitement that comes with the start of each new school year!

Day 2 of Adelphi Academy’s Faculty Orientation & Training featured interesting, informative workshops designed to enhance the in-classroom experience for all Adelphians, as well as a delicious lunch courtesy of legendary @LBSpumoni!

Adelphi Academy Head of School Ms. Iphigenia Romanos was delighted to welcome back #Classof2022 Salutatorian Yura (far l.) & his family for a very special visit last week. Yura came to introduce his younger brother Michael (2nd from l.), who is entering Adelphi's Upper School!

ATTENTION: Adelphi Academy’s main entryway is currently undergoing major renovations! Crews are hard at work constructing brand-new staircases on both sides leading up to Adelphi’s Main Entrance, so guests are reminded to please call the Main Office at 718-238-3308 for entry!

Adelphi Academy is proud to partner with @usedgov's President's Education Awards Program! Last year's recipients of the Excellence award were Timothy, Nicole & Souraya. Achievement award recipients were Yahya, Mark and Samantha. Congratulations to all of these fine Adelphians!

Members of #BenBayKiwanis were pleased to  support the Annual @FiaoBklyn Golf Outing at @dykerbeach on June 9th. The event was organized by longtime Ben-Bay board member Frank Naccarato, who also serves as executive vice president of #FIAO & chairman of its Golf Committee.

Adelphi Academy's final 2024-2025 #StudentsoftheMonth were honored at the Annual Student Awards Banquet at @bayridgemanor. Congratulations to Abraham (Lower School), Ahmed (Middle School, not pictured), Petronilla (Upper School), Eva (Scholar-Athlete) & Phoebe (Student-Artist)!

Adelphi Academy was a sponsor of the recent @FiaoBklyn golf outing at @dykerbeach, where Director of Academy Operations Mr. Albert C. Corhan, Sr. caught up with Adelphi Board of Trustees member William Bradley (bottom) at the dinner ceremony and other members of @BenBayKiwanis!

Congratulations to Adelphi Academy's #Classof2025 Valedictorian David and Salutatorian Yuk Tung, who were formally introduced by Head of School Ms. Iphigenia Romanos at Adelphi's Annual Student Awards Banquet at @bayridgemanor this past Wednesday evening! Tomorrow is the big day!

Adelphi Academy's prestigious #StudentoftheMonth program continued with a very special assembly to recognize Adelphi’s April 2025 Students of the Month: Amalia (Lower School), Justin (Middle School), James (Upper School), Samuel (Scholar-Athlete) and Elizabeth (Student-Artist)!

Adelphi Academy welcomed moms, grandmas & aunts to last week’s Annual Lower School #MothersDay Tea! Head of School Ms. Iphigenia Romanos greeted the guests of honor as they enjoyed dessert & refreshments with their little Adelphians inside the John Lockwood Auditorium Theatre!

Adelphi Academy Lower Schoolers enjoyed hunting for colorful eggs bearing their names, each filled with goodies for them to enjoy, as part of the Academy’s Annual Spring Egg Hunt!  Inclement weather forced the hunt to take place indoors, but young Adelphians still had a blast!
