In 2025 I look forward to AI truly breaking the boundaries of "context". AI should start to reason taking into account much more context than currently, while ensuring privacy. This is much more than just increasing the context window.

A reason why prompt engineering is becoming less important for most people: larger models are less sensitive to prompt variations, including roles & goals, then smaller models. There are still cases where prompt engineering matters, but don’t sweat it too much for causal answers
