Someone has pulled the plug. @AfricanLitAssoc 22 is over. It was great, and it was young, and it was Africa-facing. Now we can all return to our own time zones, hearts and minds filled up with meaning. Thank you to everyone who made ALA22 great.
There *were* panels put together by senior scholars, but this @AfricanLitAssoc 2022 conference will remain in vivid memory for the stunningly smart and polishedly professional contributions of the doctoral cohort. Simply wow. The future came for us, and it is glorious.
The collegiality and intergenerational collaborations of @AfricanLitAssoc conference is inspiring. Our association is flourishing, and we have our doctoral cohort and early career scholars to thank for it. You know who you are, give yourselves some applause.
And just to say, the @AfricanLitAssoc conference platform looks GREAT, easy to navigate, each presenter has been sent her individual links in her own time zone. Once you open the registration email, your diary appears in your time zone. Genius.
