I pointed out that thousands petitioned, protested and marched against this morally abhorrent arms fair and it should never have been booked.

At last night's Audit Committee, we read this in the Grant Thornton Audit report: "We note the lack of consultation concerning the hosting of an arms fair met with opposition from members, whereas prior consultation may have forestalled this event being booked."
