40% of people with disability live in poverty. That rate is even higher for women with disability. Our community need access to free pads and tampons more than most. It’s about equality and basic dignity. The commentary against this announcement has been down right silly.

I refuse to let the #NDIS become one disabled person pitted against another disabled person. The NDIS has become an oasis in a desert of inaccessible mainstream public services (education, heath and transport etc) that we were promised would become more inclusive.

@MrsRieB Without being able to share the full stories I am aware of people who complained about disability discrimination at work to their employer and they ended up being fired. It’s often not safe to complain.

It was not infatuation with a schoolgirl, he was a paedophile predator who groomed a child and sexually abused her, then murdered his wife because she was in the way. He is a monster, not a figure of pity.

Twitter would not act, the police would not act, so @TamePunk had to use her own platform to call out her abuser Bester for his continuing harassment and threats targeting her. Then, Twitter suspended his account. It's not good enough, survivors shouldn't have to do this.

Attacking Grace Tame (and other women) for daring to criticise bullyboy Scott Morrison, Andrew Bolt is the poster boy for men who cannot bear the thought of women having a voice. This is 1950's #sexism & #misogyny. The fact NewsCorp's Herald-Sun published it says so much. 😠
