صعبٌ علي أن أتصور ماذا تفعل الشهور والأعوام بدونك وماذا تفعل أيام الآحاد بدونك وماذا تفعل مقاعد الحدائق والمكتبات وأكشاك بيع الجرائد ومقاهي الرصيف، بدونك. صعبٌ علي يا سيدتي ، صعبٌ جداً.. أن أتصور شكل الشعر .. بدونك وشكل الحرية .. بدونك
ورغم أنه هو المغترب إلا أنني أيضاً أشعر بشعور العائد إلى الوطن، بل بشعور من يعود إليه وطنه. فهو الوطن وهو الرفيق، ومن علمني ماهو الوطن، وما معنى الرفيق.
حتي أبشع الأماكن قد تكون جميلة، ما دمت تأخذ وقتاً لتتأمل.
