Russia has a long history of only coming to peaceful and equitable terms with its adversaries after it has been militarily defeated. And yet it has survived. So Russophile whiners need to accept a loss in the current Ukraine excursion and move on. C'mon, it won't hurt THAT much.

Replying to @rynkrynk It's very common for a left leaning post that is factually correct, or mostly so, to be contaminated by partisan sloganeering at the end. I call it the "Aesop effect", in which a lovely and multifaceted story is dumbed down by a simplistic moral.

Wanted: an AI that removes sound and subtitles from film clips whose only content is talking points. Talking points range from content free to actual evil. Watching their purveyors wiggle their lips without having to listen to or read their spew has got to be an improvement.

So....Twitter is now X, but tweets are still tweets. The twitterverse isn't the Xverse, and XXX doesn't mean three tweets. I'm not a marketing guy, so I could be mistaken here, but that sure doesn't look to me like the work of a branding genius.
