It was all so unnecessary when the worst had happened , we, the staff involved, managers, needed to come together to heal and to learn. But the shutters came down ‘sides’ were created & people dehumanised. We must end fear over acknowledging harm from error.

@Alicesarmy1 The NHS mostly exists outside of the normal rules of honesty and legal constraints, and that is because it is a govt body, and negative publicity against the NHS taints the govt, so the govt protects the NHS. It is all very sad.

I made protected disclosures about nurses and operating department practitioners being fraudulently registered, taking drugs, discrimination, bullying, and the cover-ups of safety breaches, and patient deaths. All to no avail, so I wrote "NHS Dirty Secrets".

Today I made the decision to start taking alice's pictures off her walls. They are beginning to curl so I have taken the view that I'm preserving them by laminating all her beautiful artwork. She was super creative Her room looks as bare as my heart x

on 16th october 2019 a year after alice had her MRI to the day. Dr Alison Janzen of torbay hospital called us. we found her conversation troubling the documents have never arrived, she has never returned the call or any of my emails tell us what you think
