Spent 2 days at airtests for 2 of our Cumbrian projects and happy to say they came in at 0.184 and 0.183....great results and well done to all involved.

We have had mud, trucks stuck mud, multiple tractors to pull trucks out he mud, high winds and pretty foul weather, but I am pleased to say our Christmas Special build is up. Well done to the team who stuck with and got it done. I think we deserve a nice rest over Christmas now!

Came back to one of our timber frame build for the first airtightness test. Really pleased with the result from Paul Jennings of 0.1 Ach/hr Especially happy because this build was a little more complicated than some, with complicated junctions to consider. Well done all involved

First #Passivhaus Plus building in Scotland: 551 West Whins, Findhorn. A big well done to @EcoarcYeats, @AR_Clarke, @edeninsulation and of course Jan Ford, the owner! Great example of simple, effective low energy building.

Our build in Crosthwaite, Cumbria has gone up nicely, the crane is away and we are watertight after 2 days. This one has been a little more challenging with both a dormer a single story section but we love a challenge 😀

We had to make an unexpected adjustment to a panel and really pleased to see how well the cellulose has supported itself, even with nothing below it! No worries about slumping here, it is all about installing at the right density 😀

The weather gods are being kind at Eden Insulation’s Christmas Special #Passivhaus Build. All being well we should the rest of the external walls up and the floor in, ready for the roof in the morning.

We did it, the roof is on just before the wind came in. Now we have to get the Tescon Vana tape on to make it watertight before the horrible weather tomorrow

All ready on our next build to start landing panels. Added challenge of working with some existing walls on this sort of retrofit (there not much left). More to come today.
