#deportation_Turkey 1492 Afghans have been deported from Turkey to Afghanistan between 2-8 of September 2022. Besides Iran and Tajikistan, Turkey is the only country that is regularly deporting Afghans who have fled war and a humanitarian crisis.

Tajikistan has today deported 14 Afghans, including a family of 4 despite UNHCR’s intervention. @Refugees has warned Tajikistan against deportation to Afghanistan, that will put the lives of those returned in danger.

Today Afghan refugees were attacked by a local Indonesian anti refugee group known as LSM during peaceful demonstration in front of the @Refugees in Indonesia. @Refugees should immediately take notice of the situation, provide protection and an immediate resettlement solution.

The research has now been translated in to English with few pages of updates about the situation since last year. AMASO had the privilege to have a part in the research and conduct interviews of those deported to Afghanistan before 15th August 2021. diakonie.de/fileadmin/user…
