We just announced support for foldables at #AndroidDevSummit, a new form factor coming next year from Android partners. Android apps run seamlessly as the device folds, achieving this form factor's chief feature: screen continuity.
@AndroidDev @MKBHD Are there gestures to toss an app to the other side of the display?
@AndroidDev Don't tell me foldable phones will be a thing...
@AndroidDev Hopefully it will be more seamless than when you change orientation...
@AndroidDev @VenyaGeskin1 But what's the point of folding phones?
@AndroidDev @MKBHD @Apple bout to lose me next year I don’t even use iMessage like that. I’ll keep my 7 Plus for FaceTime but yo my next phone looking like it’ll be an Android
@AndroidDev Westworld got it right.
@AndroidDev Hey @ThePeej , check out this new iphone feature two years from now
@AndroidDev Ok, I'm interested. I'm guessing samsung will sell the displays to apple in 5 years and they'll brand it as their own and call it 'iFlip' and still use a 720p display 😁
@AndroidDev But can this feature beat iOS? This does look very cool though.
@AndroidDev @MKBHD Lol two simultaneous developer conferences
@AndroidDev @jsaravia ¿Qué es esto y por qué lo retuiteas? No entiendo nada. Hazme un mapa conceptual.
@AndroidDev Oh f***. This will be an interesting and, probably, very time consuming experiment. Hopefully, it won't be waste as huge as Android tablets.
@AndroidDev @Binoclarla971 take a look. This si quiet interessant . 🤔
@AndroidDev @MKBHD Why aren't they announcing foldable phones ?
@AndroidDev @MKBHD @markabrioo @WFPHD Google ahead of the game lol
@AndroidDev @ConnorKilroy good thing my phone contract finishes next year lol
@AndroidDev complete waste of time and money on this from Samsung
