As we enter day two of the Grand National, the media coverage has been dominated by criticisms of the racing industry that places profit over the care and safety of the horses they force to run. The industry can dress up the numbers and fudge statistics as they like, but there is no avoiding the inevitable and uncomfortable truth: a horse dying every other day on UK race tracks is unacceptable to the majority of animal lovers. #animalrising #grandnational2024
@AnimalRising As a horseracing fan can i ask you a 100% genuine honest question ?
@AnimalRising primitive greed and abuse!
@AnimalRising Is there nothing that we can do to stop these races! 😢💔
@AnimalRising BAN the Grand National. It is cruel and brutal and fuelled by money and greed. The horses do not have a choice, people do. Absolutely appalling that horses have been killed already and the main race hasn't even taken place yet.
@AnimalRising @ChrisGPackham Keep up the pressure.
@AnimalRising @ChrisGPackham It has always seemed wrong to me, to attempt to make money on something that could kill a lovely animal, who didn't choose to race. It is called a sport.
@AnimalRising Incorrect stats yet again by @AnimalRising
