At the same time, I’m taking on a new adventure as Chief Business Officer at @OutplayHQ. I’ve always been an operator, and it deeply feeds my investing. There’s joy in building. 🤌🤌
👉 We’re still actively investing from Fund 1. 👉 We’re continuing to raise Fund 2. 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘐 𝘢𝘮.
Now building Fund 2: $30m to back founders with a World Positive & Gender Smart lens. Close to a third in committed capital & continue to raise. 👀 Fundraising is hard. And I mean really hard. Huge respect for emerging managers crushing it.
Fund 1 → operator-led, zero fee, carry only. Nearly fully deployed, with 2-3 fresh investments to go. Founders - Holler if you’re early & raising. 🙌
I started investing in 2016 with my first nano fund OperatorVC, later as an angel. In a 2020 sabbatical, I realised early-stage investing is what I want to craft my life around. That clarity grew into Appreciate Capital with @Sairee.
