Maximus continues to break all the milestones we have set. Our 2cyl 2 stroke engine designed and built by us in the US makes all performance and reliability milestones also. No pics till the patents are secured 😊

We are still here... busy with Centurion MK IV builds running our environmental sensor packages, and upgrades to existing sensors to provide greater detection capabilities. Firmware and sensor swap is no cost for existing users. #drones #environmental

Centurion Maximus is close to its first full blown flight test. We are in the process of finishing CF covers as we don’t want our proprietary engine or drive system design exposed till we secure our IP with the patents, Autorotation features are working in SITL #drones #uav

We must survive. Folks burned through MILLIONS of investment capital. We are surviving on 35k from my 401. With DJI now at 80+% of the market it is strategically important that @American manufacturing stays in the game no matter how tiny. #drones

So for Frankenstein, I have few choices in the scrap bin. But I did find an old Futaba 7 channel receiver and thankfully an sbus mux. I have a DOA pixhawk and 4 of our ESC’s that I need to flash our firmware upon. #drones

Operations of any Centurion drone without the necessary exemption code will permanently brick your FMU-INU in a heartbeat should the drone sense operation outside CONUS or the approved jurisdiction . Exemption codes are only issued to entities of approved jurisdictions #drones

Working on the auto rotation logic for Centurion “Maximus”. SITL simulations show better performance for Radar then Lidar as we need a high refresh rate during decent. Our miniature 25 ghz sensor should fit the bill. #drones #AI #Robotics

The old Centurion MK VIII auto landing in the back of the shop. It was out this morning testing a radar system that can see oil on water. And predict what kind of hydrocarbons they are and where are the moving and predict the impact of a spill #drones #environmental #MadeInUSA

The original prototype Centurion MKVIII serial #0001 Like it’s little sister the MKIV it shares the same Landing Gear actuators. Now at 1500 TT and and 900 TOL’s the gear has never faltered.

On the bench repairing more A2 controllers today. Though we don’t advertise it we do repair (at the board level) most high end out of warranty flight controllers by others I’m glad my hands are steady as Surface mount work is 🤪 #drones
