This is definitely something I haven't tried before despite being in Kyiv for over a year. It's a "Kyivska perepichka". It's a delicacy in the city. Best way to describe it to my British friends is it's a Kyiv sausage roll, more literally sausage fried in a doughnut. @highlight

Checking in after a very eventful and loud night that saw a fierce airborne attack on the city centre through combined missile and shahed drones strikes. There was an explosion so loud at one point I thought that my bedroom windows were going to be put through. Слава Україні.
