توهین، تحقیر و اخاذی از مهاجران افغان در ایران با موج گسترده اخراج مهاجران افغان از ایران، روایت‌های از باج‌گیری و مصادره دارایی‌ها منتشر شده است. مهاجران می‌گویند پول رهن، وسایل خانه و پس‌اندازهای‌شان در ایران مانده، اما کسی پاسخگو نیست. میرویس اوریا، گزارش می‌دهد:
