Housewives of the Taliban Wife #6: Qasmat Bibi Rahmani Included is the photograph from her diplomatic passport, alongside the section listing her Taliban husband’s official posting in Peshawar. There seems to be no shortage of Taliban “diplomats” stationed in this city—odd, given the Taliban’s active role in helping direct attacks with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan against the Pakistani military in the very same region. A reasonable response by Pakistan would be to declare these terrorists persona non grata and remove them from their soil.
@TPASarah @ejsnxisk58641 Separated at birth?
Whether one agrees, disagrees, or simply considers it routine political behaviour, the act of publicly targeting or exposing the wives of Taliban officials is regarded as bey-naamoosie in Afghanistan - a profound dishonour. Such actions are almost universally condemned in Afghanistan across the political spectrum, transcending ideological divisions, and paradoxically generating sympathy for the Taliban rather than weakening them. This underscores, yet again, that Sarah is a fraud,or worse, a covert asset of intelligence agencies whose longstanding policies have consistently bolstered the Taliban’s grip on power under the guise of opposition.
