This weeks reading. Also does anyone know the name of an Arthur Conan Doyle(?) story about squid alien things in the sky at the beginning of man’s discovery of flight? (Very vague I know) I had overheard about the story and am deeply interested in it.

This is why I like roll under ability checks. (Such as those in ODD) Plus, having mechanics that require low rolls and high rolls means that players that consistently rolling low can still be rewarded in different aspects of the game and not feel as cheated mechanically.

Not big on breaking from core classes, but do to caste limitations, I have made an optional pugilist class. Essentially the poor man’s fighter. Makes +1 attacks per round but is very limited in armor and have the same combat advancement as the thief, additionally no damage spill

Ive written 2 included optional classes (ranger and druid) and 2 extra classes (pugilist and assassin) for ODD. So i get wanting extra shit I suppose... But 30? Im curious what the 30 classes even are, and at what point do you just make your system classless.

The Cleric in ODD (one depth deeper) can use there medical knowledge to try to treat immediate wounds using bandages. With a chance for failure. This is not enough to keep up with a characters need to recover to survive by design. so they will need to wait days on recovery.

Well, I learned today my printer doesn't print tabloid paper. So I was going to test out the boxes...but I guess not. I have a printer in the garage, ill see if that prints. Idk if it even works though.
