If you want to build AMMs (like Uniswap) NFT market places (like Opensea) etc you need both the global ledger and fully expressive contracts. Taro can help bring more assets to Lightning and you can use @ln_swap to do atomic swaps with contracts. Win-win. It’s not zero sum.

@TechDev_52 The other potential is the sqwashed cycles idea that occurs as network effects becomes deeper and larger cycles erode towards smaller, short cycles. i.e end of 4 year cycle due to structural changes. A running 1 year long correction is already unique this time around.
