A lot of super players who were popular FAILED at doing what they wanted after they were done playing: Bird - Magic - Russell - even Frank Robinson failed pretty much due to their inability to accept the failure of players/rosters inability to play at a certain great level.
I don't have all the facts but who in 'of sound mind' would utter this phrase even vaguely towards a quasi-boss:? “Why old white guys always telling me how to ‘act?" Lee leaves & we get Copes. Thank you. And then now ... like that ... "He's gone" (and why black and white)?
