It is given that in the next 5 years, Sundowns will finish 1st and on an odd occasion, 2nd, as long as they have the Financial Muscle of the Motsepe Family. So the PSL title is no longer the measure of Downs Coach success. CAFCL is the big fish. Pitso left a winning Blueprint.

When Sundowns wins and dominates SA Football, the narrative is that Downs are destroying SA Football. When Downs loses, the narrative changes, Sundowns is beatable. Please give Downs coaches & Players credit they deserve. Man City also have an odd loss. It’s Football.

If we beat Pirates today. Downs has won the League. The nearest team R Bay, will be 24 points behind. That is 7 games Downs must lose out of 9 & assuming RBay win all their 11 games for RBay to win the League.

Where did Amazulu get it wrong? 1. Playing George High up behind the Front 2 was a mistake. George is effective as a deep lying MF with his long passes,distribution and shooting range. Other 2 MF’s should have been Makhaula & Buchanan. Maduna should have played with the top 2.
