Growth plate fractures can affect any child or teen!
Our information can also be very useful for people who have had fractures on their growth plates
Our goal is to prevent and inform people before an accident happens!

There are five types of growth plate fractures!
There are various signs that point to a growth plate fractures, visit us at our booth on Dec 12 to find out more!
Take care of the children! These fractures can affect them the rest of their lives
Stress fractures can be caused if a child is doing too much too soon
Overuse fractires are also known as stress fractures
Most overuse fractures happen in sport like gymnastics, long distamce running, or pitching in baseball
Growth plate fractures can also be caused from overuse!
Growth plate fractures occur twice as often in boys than girls
If proper treatment isn't given, bone deformities can happen
The growth plate is found in the long bones of the body
@BchsProject My daughters dr requires a hand X-ray to determine the age of her bones & growth plate every 6 mos

How do we measure or teach creativity?
It is only in children and adolescents because it turns into hard bone as you age
The Growth Plate is also known as the Epiphyseal plate
Getting proper medical treatment is the only way to prevent negative affects from a growth plate fracture
