I can’t stand Michigan Basketball Fans. Many participate only in good times and only because MSU is successful and they live to belittle MSU at every opportunity. That being said, UM is going to dog walk UCSD by double digits. MSU will beat UNC to play them in E8. Buckle up!!!!

Michigan fans: winning the big ten tourney championship is huge for UM and a kick in the face of MSU. At the same time: It’s totally unfair that the NCAA doesn’t give more weight to conference championships. We were cheated with a 5 seed.

Great litmus for basketball fandom is understanding the difference between Big Ten Champions and Big Ten Tournament Champs. If you don’t understand the difference, look at the NCAA seeding. You weren’t seeded higher because the committee doesn’t recognize events for tv ratings.

To be fair, look at the history. Frieder didn’t know when to accept a new position. Fisher didn’t know not pay players, Ellerbe, how to coach, Beilein how to win the big one, Howard how not to punch other team’s coaches. May not knowing how to keep his kids in line seems to track

Appreciate all the work Kohler has done to become more mature, physically. The reality is that he is not a big ten player in any sense of the word. Worse, he lacks the self awareness to understand his role and limitations as a player.
