Patriarchy says, ‘Treat me like a King, like I’m above you, but care for me like I’m a helpless baby.’ It’s wild how often certain men assume leadership just by default, when they can’t even manage the simplest daily household tasks. Men will cling to being babied and then act shocked when their relationships fall apart. So many men seem capable and self-sufficient… until the relationship fully starts. Then, suddenly, you’re expected to mother them through the most basic life skills while still treating them like accomplished adults? Pift! Hard pass.
