In light of the Ministry of Lands response to the video about the allegations levelled against the Ministry and some of its officers, I just want to remind everyone of Section 12 of the 1971 Defamation Act. Please before we put out something like that video
be sure that you are standing on solid ground/ evidence. Second, if you're the TNM or TNK please seek proper advice and go to the Ministry's office to see the copy of the licence. If anyone stands in your way go to the Minister @filivosarogo or @slrabuka or even the President.
There are ways of solving issues like that amicably rather than dragging people's names and reputation through the mud. We just need to be patient coz once you put something like that on social media, that's the point of no return.
I don't like seeing my TNM or TNK or Ratu or Ro or Roko so and so's name dragged in the social media... Let's learn to listen to one another better. I'm not saying that anyone is wrong, NO. But just to be 💯 sure before acting.
As it stands, the table maybe turning and the script may be flipped.... But knowing the people implicated, it is highly likely that they won't do that, I won't.... So this should be a learning curve for all of us. ♥️💯 #ListenMore #EvidenceBased #Procedures #NoDefamation
