Helaman 13 Vs 11 Destruction from God is not inevitable. There is always a chance to repent. Vs 27-28 Beware of people posing as spiritual leaders who justify sin and flatter. They will lead you away from repentance and conversely away from God.

Helaman 5 Vs 6-12 In order to build upon the rock of Christ we need to keep the commandments, teach others about Christ, be humble, and remember. Vs 27-32, 46-48 God will sometimes shake things exceedingly, but will use a still small voice to teach and bring conversion.

Helaman 3 Vs 27-29 God is willing and wanting to bless everyone who come to Him. He is just waiting for people to choose Him.

Helaman 1 Vs 9-12 When one person hides their sins it brings pain, suffering, and anguish. When a group of people together hide their sins, it brings the destruction of society.

Alma 62 Vs 40 While there was wickedness among the Nephites, they were spared, “for the righteous sake, yea, because of the prayers of the righteous, they were spared.” The prayers of the righteous are more powerful than we realize.

Alma 61 Capt Moroni had no idea what Pahoran was going through. Pahoran’s whole world was crumbling. If he had written to Moroni sooner, the war efforts would have been better, and civil war wouldn’t have had to happen. Ask for help quickly. It can stop disaster.

Alma 60 Vs 19-22 There are always people who are suffering and struggling. Look for those who are struggling, and help. Vs 28 Worldly and political power are nothing compared to the power of God.

Alma 58 Vs 40 The stripling warriors were miraculously cared for. The were protected because of their strict observance of the commandments of God. God works miracles for the obedient. On the flip side, you can’t expect miracles if you’re not obeying commandments.
