Today at City Council, we moved to allow rear door boarding on MiWay and free transit starting March 21st. We also deferred property tax due dates for residents and businesses for the next three months to provide relief during #COVID19. We're listening and acting.
@BonnieCrombie @CTVToronto @CBCToronto @CityNews @MissiNewsRoom @CP24 @peeldailynews Great news. Thank you. Will auto payments for property taxes be delayed as well?
@BonnieCrombie @CTVToronto @CBCToronto @CityNews @MissiNewsRoom @CP24 @peeldailynews Thank you Mayor Crombie. Best wishes to you, Council and the employees of Mississauga.
@BonnieCrombie @CTVToronto @CBCToronto @CityNews @MissiNewsRoom @CP24 @peeldailynews Can we do something like other city doing, on street parking regulations. Don’t give parking tickets in this period of time.
@BonnieCrombie @CTVToronto @CBCToronto @CityNews @MissiNewsRoom @CP24 @peeldailynews Thanks, what will be the deferred dates, if for example If dyson April?
@BonnieCrombie @CTVToronto @CBCToronto @CityNews @MissiNewsRoom @CP24 @peeldailynews We are suppose to practice social distancing, I don’t see that possible on a bus wether to enter from the rear door or not
@BonnieCrombie @CTVToronto @CBCToronto @CityNews @MissiNewsRoom @CP24 @peeldailynews What about a more robust property tax forgiveness for program for our low income taxpayers and adversely impacted businesses? What Council has done is truthfully merely a symbolic gesture. Please consider doing something more meaningful!
@BonnieCrombie @CTVToronto @CBCToronto @CityNews @MissiNewsRoom @CP24 @peeldailynews Why are the malls like square one still open? I agree that the restaurants in the food court should be open but the rest of the mall should be closed.
@BonnieCrombie @CTVToronto @CBCToronto @CityNews @MissiNewsRoom @CP24 @peeldailynews Great news for @citymississauga residents. I hope other cities follow suit so that those who need the financial relief to support their families! Thank you for your leadership @BonnieCrombie #COVID19ON #FightCOVID19 #onpoli #cdnpoli
