An activist just referred to people against #CityOfYes as “pro-segregationists”. A white activist, I’ll add. He was followed by a black New Yorker who asked for the proposal to be reworked and referred to the “arrogance” of the plan.

At a November 4 meeting on city of yes, one attendee opposed to the plan as written was leaving at 4 AM to be a Harris campaign poll watcher in Pennsylvania. But go on calling us Trump supporters. Helpful.

The “suburban life“ feel that @hodakotb describes is possible in Victorian Flatbush, Brooklyn. Yet #CityOfYes is pushing through way too many changes with NO honest public outreach. The change to this Glenwood Road lot are exactly what they are hoping for on a wider scale.
