Its less than a month to primary elections and I find it near impossible to find out who I will be voting for. I live in city, voting precincts, a Representative, a senatorial, a county, and state and National districts. Why am I always surprised by what and who is on my ballot?

I live in Sandy, right at 900 feet in elevation so when Portland goes crazy with predictions of snow, it usually means I will see a little. Not this time! It’s really amusing. Is there a way to get their predictions right?

If our economy is doing so well why is Portland reporting Right Aid stores are going through chapter 11. Hundreds of store in the west are closing. We need leadership that will address this

I am frustrated that I have to sit here watch the hatred (yes that is the word) between the different sides in Oregons leadership. like me others are as frustrated over the lack of compromise, and desire to solve problems as I. I’m calling on all our leadership get things done!

Watched my Oregon State loose what looks like the last civil war game hurt. But then Coach Smith announces after 6 years of building its football team to such high accomplishments he’s says he’s leaving! And still no 2024 schedule. Is OSU football done?

Sandy has always been just far enough from Portland to not be in the mix. That is not the case any more. Homelessness is more evident. Affordable housing is non- existent. Rentals are just not available. We have great people to work on these. What can the other cities say?

Wow finally Sandy will have a alternate road to south Sandy next week from hwy 26 when 362 to Bell opens. We plan to open Monday Oct 2!

I’m sitting here waiting for a Dr. To get back to me. It makes me wonder if the lack of Dr and nurses in Oregon is due to our disrespect of their hard work or their distrust of our government to have their back? I wonder maybe both.

opb.org/article/2023/0… Portland for all its problems is still a big part of Oregon. We can not allow it to drag the rest of us into the crime, anarchy, and mismanagement that plagues it. Cities like Sandy that feel the impact of Portland decisions need to be diligent.

Oregon has over 2000 bills presented this legislation and over 400 affect real estate (my business) - how in the world is an individual citizen supposed to keep track of them?
