A lot of devs like meetings. I don't think it's because they want to solve problems. It's because they need social interaction I would prefer to skip the meeting and hang out with friends after work
@CFDevelop If they are paid per time unit (hour, day or month) - meeting is a good excuse to pretend something is being done but they're just casually shooting shit. Only when they're paid for results - meeting becomes major time waste
@CFDevelop Word and wording: colleague. People at work are not your friends.
@CFDevelop I like meetings because I use them to get things done, but I don't like meetings where nothing is accomplished or the "facilitators" choose to make it a futile endeavor.
@CFDevelop A meeting with face and voice is much better and faster to solve problems than text. Non-verbal communication also makes a difference. Text can be very ambiguous needs a lot of clarification, and is async.
