Big news! TY to @wsjforg for awarding us a $400k grant to help us grow our capacity and impact. This critical investment will strengthen our support of the 14 Local Conservation Corps @LocalCorps and the 3,000+ young adults they serve every year.
We have just closed out our @rewild grant, and are excited to share that we were able to provide 13 local corps with funds to support the professional development of 67 corpsmembers. Stay tuned - we’ll be sharing their stories during the next few months!

CLCCFoundation proudly shares that Urban Corps of the Inland Empire’s Fuels Reduction partnership with Ramona Band of Cahuilla is lowering fire risks around new homes on the Ramona Reservation. The project is in collaboration with @CAConservCorps & funded by @NatureBasedSolu
Naudika Williams, a Corpsmember @Civicorps in Oakland was provided a bike to commute to their new wastewater department internship with East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) through our Alumni Support Program, with funding from Leonardo CiCaprio’s re:wild Organization.

Thanks to the generous support of @rewild, @SDUrbanCorps alumni Mohammad is equipped with the tools he needs to pursue a degree in biology at Grossmont College this fall. CLCCF gifted Mohammad a computer to take notes, do research and achieve his career goals in conservation.
