Students in Mrs. Clark’s 1st grade class at George W. Sharswood School created strategies (2’s, 5’s, 10’s, etc..) to count the number of macaroni’s in their bags. They loved discussing their strategies as well.

Students in Mrs. Coyle’s first grade math class at Sharswood enjoyed taking part in a Which One Doesn’t Belong Number Sense Routine. They had multiple explanations for their choices. One student exclaimed, “all of our answers are correct”.
