Fun Fact #34: The first CROP Hunger Walk was held in Charlotte, NC raising $19,000 with several hundred walkers.
Fun Fact #35: The first CROP Hunger Walk was held on October 17, 1969 in Bismark, ND raising $25,000 with thousands of people walking 25 miles.
Fun Fact #36: In 1955 CROP and Church World Service joined forces to expand their efforts.
