Claude Sonnet input TPS is ~4.4K, TPM is ~260K, so the cost is: - ~$0.80/min - ~$50/hr - ~$1.1K/d - ~$35K/mo - ~$400K/yr In reality it'll prolly wait for tool calls for 50% time, so $200K/yr. This is incredibly close to a junior eng's cost 😂.
Yeah I thought when we went flat in the mid-2010s, it was because people got used to digital interfaces and no longer need neumorphism as a learning hack. I'm sure much has changed since then but I'm not sure what change would have promoted this step backwards.
