.@CanadaBay is the latest council - following @parracity, @ourcbcity, @WaverleyCouncil & @cityofsydney - with a plan to make new residential and commercial developments gas free. The move will increase indoor air quality and lower household energy bills.

Every fossil fuel mine approval is hurtling us further into a dangerous future. We must reduce emissions by 75% below 2005 levels by 2030 and reach net zero by 2035. This is completely doable. Cartoon by @meganjherbert for the Climate Council.
