@CSMFHT Aeneas the demi-god got his ass thoroughly kicked by the mortal Diomedes and only survived the encounter because his mommy came down from Mount Olympus to save him. He should have died of shame. Doesn't deserve a story, let alone a epic one.

@CSMFHT It is not easy to write in dactylic hexameter. Granted, it's probably easier if you're a native latin speaker but still. Very impressive.
@CSMFHT I like his shepherd's poems better. To be honest, the Aeneid suffered from my exhumation with the classics that semester. I didn't really liked it because it felt too much like reading the Odyssey and the Illiad all over again.

@CSMFHT I just finished reading a mystery novel about a murder at a romance novel convention. A novel named A Willow in Her Hand was the most popular book of the time. That's Virgil adjacent!
