It’s been awhile since our last post. School really took off for us last year! We are focused on getting our dissertations off the ground and working to finish our coursework. Another major update - Leah is going to have a baby soon! We are excited for her sweet family! #JaLeah
It’s a snowy day on campus! Leah and Jaley had class on main campus today. There wasn’t any snow on the ground when we went to class. Here are the before and after pics of leaving the building when it started and returning to the UCA.

The weather was intense this week! Sun one minute, snow/sleet the next. We surprised ourselves when we all showed up in CSU sweatshirts to keep us warm. Great minds think alike, right?!
One year ago Jaley wanted to become more confident with social media to use professionally and in classrooms for engagement. Leah recommended we practice by starting our own Twitter feed to document our PhD journey at CSU. We can’t believe we are a year in!! #MyTwitterAnniversary
#JaLeah presented research at the Graduate Student Showcase at Colorado State today. We are delighted to share research (and to see our names on a research poster!)
Leah is incredibly excited (and possibly freaking out a bit😳) as her bio and pic just appeared on the ACRM webpage, as she is a presenter for the American Congress of Rehabilitative Medicine in Chicago next week with one of the CSU professors @JessRushMT !
Today #Jaleah spent the day in Longmont and took part in Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations.
We’ve truly enjoyed getting to know Grażyna. She is a music therapist visiting our campus for a few weeks from Poland. We will be sad to see her go.
Jaley was caught horsin’ around today. What a great day!
We started our long weekend with a drive up the mountains. Nothing like a mountain drive with the top down. Mo was there, too, but we got so carried away by good music, good company, and incredible scenery that we forgot to take more pics!
We welcomed a new member to our PhD crew by taking a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. I really do feel ready to conqueror the new year now! #MoJaLeah
Today we led a fidget concert with the Boulder Symphony Orchestra. What a wonderful experience to bring to the amazing sounds of the BSO to all audiences.
It’s the last day of classes, Friday afternoon, 80 degrees and sunny. Where are your favorite MT PhD students?!?! In our office writing up some research reports. Happy Friday!
