This is excellent
Amoo left the club this summer, despite many fans hoping he would sign a new contract.
Another player issue feature not seen on the replicas was the @MindCharity logo on the player lettering. Whilst the font stayed the same as previous years, each players name now had the Mind logo joined to the first letter. The shirt numbers also featured the Mind logo.
Sky Bet continued as the Football League sponsor this season, but the left sleeve badge featured an anti-gambling message. The sleeve badges were of the same design as last season but were now made from a rubbery material.
The design of this Puma shirt was widely ridiculed due to the awkward positioning of the sponsors logo. An interesting feature of this player issue shirt is that the Mick George logo is applied on a vinyl background rather than woven into the shirts as on the replicas (top).
Bang up to date we have last season’s home shirt as worn by David Amoo. Amoo was a former Liverpool youth player who joined United from Partick Thistle in 2017.
A nice touch to this shirt was the admittedly small CUFC badge being stitched to the shirt.
The shirt was used the following season as Michael Gash rejoined the club, with United finishing 9th.
It was a season of change at the Abbey with Jez George replacing Martin Ling as the team eventually finished 17th in the Blue Square Premier
Featuring an asymmetric collar design and the familiar amber this smart shirt featured the Greene King sponsor at home, but Kershaw away.
Back after a long break we have this 2010/11 Errea shirt, worn away from home by Michael Gash
This shirt was made by TFG Sports and features a nice embroidered CUFC badge and this player version comes with long sleeves.
Highlights of Cowans United career included 3 goals and a big on-field argument with goalkeeper Lionel Perez.
By 2001-02 he'd fallen out of favour and was loaned out to a certain local rival... He'd been photographed for the pen pics in this shirt
He arrived at United after they were promoted to Division 2, signing during the 99-00 season.
Cowan had a storied career including playing for teams including Rangers, Sheffield United, Huddersfield & Burnley
Another match issue shirt this week, Tom Cowans 2001-02 long sleeved home shirt.
