Sometimes I feel like I'm caught in a time loop. Like, no matter how hard I try, things will get neither better nor worse. I watch all my friends growing, experiencing life. And I'm happy for them. But I don't understand what I'm doing that's keeping me from growing with them.

It can be easy to want to keep my head down and pretend I'm completely happy with life. But sometimes, my feelings resurface to remind me that I'm still a human with dreams and worries and regrets. And it hurts. Today's one of those days.

The other night, I had a dream I reunited with an old friend. It was nice. He told me the reason he hasn't talked to me in three years was because he got a new phone. Sadly, I don't think I'll ever know why he stopped talking to me.

The Vtuber industry suffers from a lot of samey-ness. It can be really off-putting if you aren't anime- and/or sex-obsessed. But I swear, if you dig hard enough, there are some absolute gems who more than deserve to float to the surface.
