For this year's #js13k I wanted to revisit my CSS Minecraft clone. I remade it from scratch with infinite world generation and multiplayer(!) Now all is left to do is to create an actual game from it that has something to do with death 😅 I do have some ideas though...👀

My @js1024fun mirror (top-left) is made up of 3 dirrerent 3D CSS scenes One is the scene we see (top-right), one is an inverted version that is the reflection (bottom-right) and one is used for clipping the mirror scene onto the main one #js1024 #js1k #css #css3d #reflections

Last day of #js13k Just submited my game a few minutes before the end, wish I had more time to add more levels / features, but I'm very happy with what I have. The idea of a game like this done in CSS3D has been on the back of my mind for years, and I finally made it :)

Day 5 of #js13k Still working on my 3D CSS voxel engine. Since performance is usually very poor if there are too many divs, I implemented an optimization which will group neighbouring faces together, reducing the total div count by a lot
