Final vms coming back online. Scratch space should be restored. Compute nodes have been powered back on.
VM hosts booting. Virtual machine infrastructure coming up
DNS service is restored. File service is next.
Mail service has been restored to normal operations
Incoming email is now also being delayed. Messages sent into CMS addresses will be queued on the sending server.
We're experiencing a short outage while we correct for an attempt to use the mail infrastructure to send a volume of spam. Service should be back to normal shortly. Incoming mail is not affected.
We have an open ticket with the device maintenance provider. Appears to be a network interface problem. We are still working on the issue

DNS outage this morning led to an interruption in mail service. Mail was down for about an hour and a half, restored at 8:30am
Mail outage tonight, 10:45pm to 11:45pm. Cause currently unknown, not a kernel panic. Will investigate more in the AM.
Amavis-D, the spam scanning service, died unexpectedly. Mail service has been restored.
