**AGENCY CLOSURE - Friday, September 13, 2024**
Today, I attended an excellent presentation called “Clinical Quality Management TED Talks: Ideas Worth Spreading Within RWHAP” at the 2024 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment. QM is an important component of any human services organization.
Today, I’ll attend the 2024 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care and Treatment which features a special session featuring Jeanne White-Ginder, the mother of Ryan White. Jeanne previously visited our area in June 2024.
August is National Immunization Awareness Month, a vital observance that serves as a reminder of the importance of vaccinations in safeguarding our health and the health of our communities. As flu season approaches, be sure to stay educated, stay safe, & get yourself vaccinated.
Our agency represented at today’s Technology Grant meeting with individual staff members of the North Central District Allied Connections (NCDAC), which funds us to conduct HIV-related services in North Central Pennsylvania. the meeting focused on agency technology needs.

Our monthly Wilkes-Barre support group provides a safe and non-judgmental space to share your experiences, connect with others who understand what you're going through, and receive emotional support. Our group is led by trained facilitators and meets every month!
Last week, Caring Communities took part in a presentation at Mohegan Sun Resort featuring speaker Jeanne White-Ginder, the mother of Ryan White. Ryan died of AIDS at the height of the epidemic and Congress named funding to help others living with HIV and AIDS in his honor.
