Students & staff enoyed an end of term fund raiser, to help raise funds towards a fridge-freezer for the fantastic CGS Breakfast Club. The 'Big Breakfast' baps & crepes went down a treat, as everyone enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Wishing everyone a happy and relaxing summer!

Today was the final day or fieldwork fun for Year 8 Geographers. Today it was 8P’s turn to visit a slightly soggy Crawfordsburn. Many thanks to Mr Crawford, Mr Baxter, Mr Macdonald, Miss Patterson, Mr Morrow and all of the office support staff who help to make these trips happen.

Today it was 8R who pulled on their wellies and headed for the Crawfordsburn River. Groups worked with Mr Crawford and Mr Baxter (an honorary Geographer for the day) to gather their data and were rewarded with a visit to the ice cream van at the beach!

8S enjoyed their venture into a sunsoaked County Down last week, as they successfully completed their Geography field study of the Crawfordsburn River. Thanks to Mr Macdonald and Miss Patterson for mucking in and to the pupils who did a great job on their first field trip!
